SuDehPa Stoney Tham - Yoga Coach

SuDehPa Stoney Tham is a very experienced yoga teacher who has taught yoga full-time since 1998. Her students learn yoga with her over the years and have shown significant improvement in their overall well-being through consistent yoga practice. By focusing on self-awareness, i.e being mindful of the moment and being in touch with our body, Sudehpa support her students to know themselves better, while they experience increased flexibility and strength.

In 2005, SuDehPa developed Motion 5, a range of motion exercises which combines the Western medical model with Eastern-based yoga and qigong. She went on a Chinese morning programme to demonstrate Motion 5 to help stroke patients regain mobility.   

To improve herself in the field of yoga, SuDehPa goes for yearly training with her guru in India. In addition, she makes keen observation during her yoga classes and explores other types of alternative therapies. With all these studies and teaching experience, she offers mind and body health consultancy to people with health issues. Besides applying specific yoga posture and prescribing herbal tea to address health issues such as bloating and insomnia, her consultations also include dietary recommendations and lifestyle changes to achieve optimum therapeutic effects. In the past couple of years, SuDehPa has used this customised therapy programme successfully with cancer patients, helping them to reduce their pain and improve their health.
