Shamala is an international motivational speaker, facilitator and counselor. She has presented and facilitated in many major holistic and well being events and seminars in Singapore, USA, England, Austria and Australia. Prior to this, she was in the advertising/marketing industry including running her own business at a young age of 21.
Much of Shamala's work is based on her own learning and experiences. Having been highly dependent on alcohol and other abusive substances in her past, she overcame the psychological challenges and became the master of her bad habits & addictions through self motivation. Shamala also experienced sexual abuse when she was a victim of her addictions but she battled this personal challenge and eventually emerged empowered. Now Shamala is a counselor and life coach for women who have been sexually abused as well.
Her own experiences and success in life have shown her that everyone has an innate ability to achieve the highest ideals and this has inspired her to ignite the passion/fire in others as part of her quest to assist them.
As a Transpersonal Counselor & Intuitive Therapist, Shamala feels blessed to help others to achieve their highest potential and to conquer their own fear based thoughts/feelings. Because of her own success story, Shamala is confident that others can also attain liberation from their challenges/issues no matter how unsurmountable they may seem at first.
